Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of labixdiagnostics.in (the “Website”) and the services offered by Labix Diagnostics (“Labix”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By visiting, browsing, submitting an enquiry, or using any part of the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1) About Labix

  • Labix Diagnostics is a pathology/diagnostic laboratory and related service provider with operations in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
  • We are open 24 hours.

2) Scope of Services

  • Labix provides diagnostic testing and allied services, including (as applicable): routine pathology tests, specialised tests, preventive health packages, home sample collection (where available), reporting via digital channels, and corporate health check-up/wellness support (across Gujarat).
  • Important: Lab tests support clinical decision-making.
  • They are not a substitute for a doctor’s consultation.

3) Eligibility & Use for Minors

  • You may use the Website if you are legally capable of entering a binding agreement under Indian law.
  • For minors, service requests and sample collection must be initiated/approved by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for consent and accuracy of details shared.

4) Enquiries, Appointment Requests & Confirmation

  • The Website may allow you to submit an enquiry / request a callback / request sample collection / request an appointment.
  • Any submission via forms, WhatsApp, phone, or “Inquire Now” CTAs is treated as a service request, not a confirmed appointment.
  • An appointment is confirmed only after Labix explicitly acknowledges and confirms it (via call/message).
  • Appointment slots and home collection availability depend on capacity, location, and operational feasibility.
  • Labix may request additional details (e.g., address confirmation, test requirements, preparation instructions) before confirming.

5) No Online Payments / Payment Gateway on Website

  • The Website does not process online payments (no integrated payment gateway).
  • Prices (where displayed on the Website) are indicative and may change.
  • The final payable amount (if any) will be confirmed by Labix at the time of appointment/service-request confirmation (call/WhatsApp/message), before service delivery.
  • If any taxes/charges apply, they will be clarified during confirmation.

6) Patient Responsibilities

  • To support accurate testing and safe collection, you agree to: Provide accurate patient details (name, age, sex, contact, address, doctor details if applicable).
  • Follow pre-test preparation instructions (fasting/non-fasting, medication disclosures, timing – where applicable).
  • Disclose relevant information that could affect results (recent illness, ongoing medicines, pregnancy where relevant, etc.).
  • Ensure safe access/availability at the collection location for home visits.

7) Sample Collection, Handling & Test Limitations

  • Test accuracy depends on correct sample collection, identification, handling, transport, and clinical context.
  • Results may be affected by biological variation, timing, preparation, sample quality, or pre-analytical factors.
  • Where a sample is insufficient/compromised, recollection may be required.

8) Turnaround Time (TAT) & Report Delivery

  • Estimated TAT varies by test type and logistics.
  • Time shared is indicative, not a guarantee.
  • Reports may be delivered through WhatsApp and/or email and/or as printed copies on request, as per the process confirmed by Labix.
  • You are responsible for providing the correct email/phone number and maintaining confidentiality on your device.
  • If you request WhatsApp delivery, you consent to receiving health-related communication on WhatsApp.

9) Report Understanding / Consultation Support

  • If Labix offers report explanation/consultation support, it is guidance and does not replace your treating doctor’s clinical judgement.
  • For diagnosis and treatment decisions, consult your physician.

10) Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

  • Since the Website does not confirm bookings instantly, cancellation/rescheduling applies after Labix confirms an appointment/service request.
  • Once sample collection is completed or processing has started, cancellation/refund will not be available.
  • If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable time as per internal policy and banking timelines.

11) Corporate / On-site Health Camps

  • For corporate health check-ups and wellness programs: Service scope, staffing, equipment, timelines, reporting format, and commercials will be governed by the agreed proposal/Work Order/Agreement.
  • Corporate branding usage, data-sharing, and reporting access will be handled as per agreed terms and applicable laws.

12) Acceptable Use of Website

  • You agree not to: Misuse the Website, attempt unauthorised access, scrape data, or interfere with website security.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or unlawful content.
  • Misrepresent identity or submit false information.

13) Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Website – including text, graphics, logos, design elements, and brand assets – is owned by or licensed to Labix and protected under applicable IP laws.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute it without written permission.

14) Privacy & Data Protection

  • Your use of the Website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
  • By submitting an enquiry or sharing your details, you consent to Labix collecting and processing your information for service delivery, quality, compliance, and customer support, and to contact you regarding your request.
  • This may also include sharing service updates and promotional information (such as new services, packages, offers, or awareness initiatives) via SMS, WhatsApp, and email, in line with the Privacy Policy and your opt-out preferences.

15) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • The Website content is provided for general information and may not always be error-free or updated.
  • Labix is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Website or delays/interruptions beyond reasonable control.
  • Labix’s total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question, unless otherwise required by law.

16) Force Majeure

Labix will not be responsible for service delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural events, pandemics, strikes, infrastructure outages, government restrictions, or transport disruptions.

17) Third-Party Links

  • Labix does not control or endorse those sites and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

19) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat shall have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
